Erik D. Olund is a seasoned aviation and business executive with a proven track record in strategic planning, operations management, and team leadership. His extensive experience in the aviation industry has equipped him with the skills to drive operational efficiencies, foster a culture of teamwork, and produce results.

Prior to joining Jetstream, Erik supported Caliber Collision as a Vice President. There was able to demonstrate his adaptability and his ability to apply his strategic acumen to new industries. Erik led Caliber’s Auto glass line through a large transformation to record profitability while improving customer and teammate satisfaction. However, his heart and expertise truly lie in the aviation sector, where he has spent most of his career.

Erik served in various senior leadership roles at American Airlines, including Airport Operations and Technical Operations. As the Managing Director of Base Maintenance, he oversaw outsourced and insourced Aircraft Overhaul, Component Repair, Engine Overhaul, and Facilities Maintenance organizations. He played a key role in the upgrades to the Tulsa Maintenance Base, displaying strategic foresight. Additionally, Erik’s leadership ensured successful partnerships with state and local elected officials, securing millions of dollars in incentives for American’s investments. In addition to Technical Operations, Erik served as Director of Customer Care at American’s Flagship operation in JFK as well as several airport operations roles throughout the system.

Prior to his tenure at American Airlines, Erik managed operations at US Airways, United Airlines, AirTran Airways, Pace Airlines, and Air Midwest Airlines. He demonstrated his expertise in a variety of aspects of aviation management, including revenue management, demand planning, and sales.

Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from Kansas State University and is an instrument-rated pilot. His career in the aviation industry is marked by his commitment to safety, operational excellence, strong customer service, and his ability to lead teams to achieve goals.
